Row Level Security on power Bi Sever

Hi All,

I am using Power BI Desktop and have created a Pbix with Row Level security and it works fine. But when I upload this report on the Power BI Server, it shows below errors for all the visuals.
"To view content contact the dataset owner..."

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Can you please share the screenshot of the error? are you getting this error in visuals?

Did you add your users to below

--> Right click on report and click Manage.

--> On Left side you will see "Row Level Security"

--> Click Add member to add users and click on the role you want to provide on RLS.

Hi!

Could you please confirm if you are using userprincipalname:

"Be aware that username() has the format of DOMAIN\username within Power BI Desktop. Within the Power BI service and Power BI Report Server, it's in the format of the user's User Principal Name (UPN). Alternatively, you can use userprincipalname(), which always returns the user in the format of their user principal name, username@contoso.com. "

Hi ,

Yes I am using userprincipalname(), but on the Report Server it is not recognising.

Thanks
