Row Level Security for on prem

I have row level security working in Power BI Desktop

When I deploy to server, I am able to set up row level security there

but

When I view the report (as myself) it still shows me everything

I am the admin for Power Bi Report Server

Is this why the RLS does not take effect?

I see for Power BI Service, admin or edit rights will have this effect, but not able to find anything for on prem.

Hi @dalewith ,

You are correct.

If you're using the default permissions in Power BI Report Server, any user with Publisher or Content Manager permissions for the Power BI report can assign members to roles for that report.

Also, please remeber RLS isn't respected if your DirectQuery connection uses integrated authentication for report readers.
