Report Server license?

Hi Guys!

I only need the Power BI Report Server, I don't need power BI premium. Is there a license (cost) only for Power BI Report Server? Thanks

You can't buy it individually, but you can purchase a SQL Server Enterprise license with Software Assurance, and that would cover it. Your users who would be publishing reports to the server though will still also need Power BI Pro licenses.

Yet none of the answers come with the actual price.

Which is the cheapest solution to have a serial number for Power BI Reporting Server.

I have to report this cost to a client, but I can't, nobody knows, everybody just says look on that thread, go here, have a look there...

Well I don't think you're going to get a simple cut and dry answer, because "it depends!" 🙂  If I was in your shoes, I'd start here:

And then I would talk to whomever provides my SQL Server licensing, and figure out what it'd cost to get a SQL Enterprise license with SA, and then you have something to compare against.
