Report Server Recommendations - When is it appropriate
Dear Team,
Could you help me understand the scenarios where Report Server is a better choice than Power BI Service.
Apart from self hosted solution are there any benefits one would get from Report Server deployment ?
We have a need for paginated reports which appears not feasible with just Pro license, needs Premium I guess. I came across this question on Report Server benefits while doing some research on pixel perfect reporting, email subscriptions with PDF, Excel attachments.
Appreciate your suggestions/inputs.

The single biggest decider for us was data security. We're very anti cloud so the PBI Service wasn't an option.
Almost every single thing about it is just slightly more rubbish than the cloud version, though it changes slower and in this particular organisation that's a good thing, it already moves way too fast for them, the idea of updating the software more than once a year in this corporate environment is a bit of a sturggle :-)
