Report Builder (paginated report): Custom fonts not working in PDF exports from Service

Hello, I can't find the Paginated Report section in this forum..

I'm developing an .rdl report in Report Builder - Paginated report, (not SSRS) that uses the Montserrat font. The font displays correctly when I export the PDF on my local machine where the font is installed, and appears correctly in the exported PDF. However, when the report is generated and exported to PDF from the Power BI service, it gets replaced with a default font.

I've tried:
* Modifying the .rdl file directly to add the EmbeddedFonts section (Opening it as an XML file in VS Code)
* Looking for options in Report Properties
* Installing the font locally

Is there a way to embed the font directly in the .rdl report so it works when exported to PDF from the Fabric service?
Technical details:
* Using Power BI Report Builder
* Report is in .rdl format
* The font I want to embed is Montserrat
* Report needs to be automatically generated and exported to PDF by service online

Thanks for your help!

Hi,@SaraObialero .I am glad to help you.

Unfortunately, at this time for the export feature, Power BI Service does not seem to support the use of custom fonts in paginated reports when exporting to PDF.

When exporting pbix files in Power BI Service has the following limitations.

I think the same limitation exists when exporting paginated reports with the file type as .rdl.

I recommend that you use the Export to PDF function in the power BI Report Builder and subsequently publish it to Power BI Service.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
