Publish to Power BI - Report contains unsupported data source SHAREPOINTLIST

Hi

• We have 1200+ RDL's in SSRS 2016 that need to be migrated to the Power BI Service.
• Many have just SQL data sources but hundreds of them also have a "Microsoft Sharepoint List" data type as part of the RDL
• I have moved a test group to a SSRS 2022 Power BI Report Server instance, so I can use to the Publish to Power BI feature. 
• Reports without Sharepoint data sources seem to publish flawlessly.
• I get "Report contains unsupported data source SHAREPOINTLIST" for any with Sharepoint lists. 
• It seems I can setup on prem and cloud Sharepoint connections in power bi service but is there no way to get my RDL's to use them? Either before or after migrating? Or am I doing something wrong 
• If it helps or hurts my situation.. the other moving target is we are migrating from on-prem sharepoint to Sharepoint online, at the same time as this Power bi migration. 

Any advice for our scenario would be great! We are trying to avoid re-building hundreds of reports.
