Hi,
we recently migrated from SSRS to PBIRS, but cant shut down the the old SSRS because of one issue.
We need to daily export a paginated report to a filepath in xls. format. The report is parameterized. The result is 50 complex excel files/day with specific naming convention.
We achieve this using SSIS and a C# script with ReportExecutionService Class (link). It doesnt seem to be supported on PBIRS.
Do you have any idea, how we can programmatically render and save reports from a PBI report server?
Thanks a lot in advance

Hi @Kcirtap ,
If I have misunderstood your question, please correct me.
Are you trying to solve the problem that the old SSRS cannot be shut down?
How did you do the migration? We recommend you use the RDL Migration Tool to help prepare, and migrate your reports. This tool was developed by Microsoft to help customers migrate RDL reports from their SSRS servers to Power BI. It's available on GitHub, and it documents an end-to-end walkthrough of the migration scenario.
As you prepare to migrate your reports to Power BI, first verify that your organization has a Power BI Premium subscription. This subscription is required to host and run your Power BI paginated reports.

"PBIRS" is almost same as SSRS. PBI RS additionally can show interacitive "PBI reports". You can automate SSRS (paginated) reports on PBI RS on same way as on SSRS.
