I am looking at enabling Entra authentication for an on-premise PowerBI report server. Can PBIRS simultaneously support both integrated Windows authentication and Entra auth? i.e., will domain-connected users who currently authenticate with SSO be prompted to authenticate via Entra? Or will they continue to have access as they do today (no prompt) and only non-domain connected users would get the Entra login prompt?
May I ask if you have resolved this issue? If so, Can you please share the resolution steps here. This will be helpful for other community members who have similar problems to solve it faster.

The support for Entra authentication is done through Entra Application Proxy Configure Power BI Report Server with Microsoft Entra application proxy - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
And it basically maps an Entra user to a windows account, I don't think there is a built-in way to grant access to non-domain accounts without building your own custom auth provider
Thanks. I had found that link, too. I'll follow up on this in the coming days.
