PowerBI, Windows Auth and Entra ID
I am looking at enabling Entra authentication for an on-premise PowerBI report server. Can PBIRS simultaneously support both integrated Windows authentication and Entra auth? i.e., will domain-connected users who currently authenticate with SSO be prompted to authenticate via Entra? Or will they continue to have access as they do today (no prompt) and only non-domain connected users would get the Entra login prompt?

The support for Entra authentication is done through Entra Application Proxy Configure Power BI Report Server with Microsoft Entra application proxy - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
And it basically maps an Entra user to a windows account, I don't think there is a built-in way to grant access to non-domain accounts without building your own custom auth provider
