PowerBI Reporting server not refreshing Access data
Hello everyone,
I've encountered a problem with automatic refresh of Access DB with On premise reporting server.
I constatly get a message :
SessionID: 8fb26d8a-3e35-4359-8055-c87fc04ba327 [0] -1055784932: Unspecified error. The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
Scenario is like this:
I have a local Access database.accdb
I try to take one of the tables and do a visual in Power BI
I have a local Access database.accdb
I try to take one of the tables and do a visual in Power BI
When i do this with Power BI black - everything works fine, data does refresh correctly ( i have installed the database engine x64 to properly connect to the DB). When i export to on premise and try to do a scheduled refresh it doesn't work.
What i've checked:
The machine with Powerbi on premise has database engine x64 installed (and reinstalled again .. )
The machine with Powerbi on premise can see the location where the DB file is.
The machine with Powerbi on premise can refresh an CSV file and refresh it from the same location.
The machine with Powerbi on premise can refresh an .xls file and refresh it from the same location.

All the credentials in the uploaded PBIX are good with all the group infromation and teast connection works fine.
I've tried to upload the report from 3 different machines with 2 diffrerent release versions of PowerBI (black)- so its not client specific
I've tried to put a fresh acces DB file x86- doesn't work
I've tried to put a fresh acces DB file x86 created on a different machine - doesn't work
Clearing cache and reuploding didnt seam to help either
Changing login credentials didnt help either ( tested read-only , read-write ).
Did anyone had a problem like this ? Maybe there is a workarround not to use the Access connector.
I don't want to move the DB to SQL because it will be taken down very soon.

Did any one else had a simmilar problem ? I looked through simmilar problems but most correspont to either credential issues , read access or other problems correspondint different datasource and could not find a problem with both Unspecified error and iDb connection.
