PowerBI Pro licenses
Our IT admnistrator and I have figured it out. It turned out quite easy in the end. Apparently, the licenses were not assigned to the right Active Directory group.
Thank you lbendlin
Hi, lideweij
Power BI is part of Fabric. Although your organization has turned off the functionality of Fabric, you can still sign in to Power BI instead of Fabric:
https://app.powerbi.com/home?experience=power-bi
Below is Fabric login:
https://app.fabric.microsoft.com/
When anyone logs in to Fabric, if it doesn't have a Fabric license, the Register Fabric free license page pops up.
A fabric free license isn't required to use Power BI.

Thank you Jiangpeng and lbendlin,
Yes that's right we got our PBRS licence together with the SQL Server license. We do not want to use Fabric at this point in time; only Powerbi Pro. When I try to log in on the app.powerbi.com I am redirected to the Fabric url and get this message: "you have selected Fabric Free. Contact your IT department to get a free licence". I can't seem to reach the powerbi site.

Hi, lideweij
I totally understand your mood and needs. Let me see if your account is assigned a pro license in the Azure admin portal:
https://admin.microsoft.com/After my testing, I can log in to Power BI Service directly when I have a pro license.
