We are assessing if we are to upgrade our existing Power BI Embedded capacity from Gen 1 to Gen 2.
Will an upgrade have an impact on workspace (Group) IDs?
From my understanding the workspace group IDs are independent of the capacity, but would like to confirm first.
Thanks!

Hi @pbicurious ,
In my opinion, upgrading to Gen does not adjust the workid and group id, refer to the official article.
Do I need to prepare anything or make any changes before the migration?
No. You don't need to move workspaces before the migration, or reassign workspaces after the migration.
