Please try the following steps:

Sometimes, permission issues can cause the Analysis Services process to fail. Right-click on the Power BI Desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator" to see if this resolves the issue.

Since Power BI Desktop is updated on a monthly basis, ensuring you have the latest version can resolve many issues.
