Power Bi dashboard export to pdf

Is it possible to export the power Bi dashboard to pdf in power bi report server i am getting error 

• The full path must be less than 260 characters long; other restrictions apply. If the report server is in native mode, the path must start with slash. (rsInvalidItemPath)

Sorry you are still facing the issue.

Make sure

1. The path to the report should be just the folders, not the url.
e.g. /Folder1/Folder2/ReportName
you should use the http://server or the querystring

From the error message, the path of your report item might be invalid.
Please check the report path you specified in code.
Please try to add a slash as the start of report path and don't end the path with /

If you are still unable to export your Pbix through the URL you can try the print option and  configure the printer as PDF.

while additionally making sure,

1.Your report name is too long or contains invalid characters. Try shortening the name and avoiding special characters like /, \, *, or ?.

2.When exporting to PDF, make sure the configuration settings in Power BI Report Server are correct.
You might want to clear any custom export settings or reset them to default to see if that resolves the issue.

i tried reducing the path like below 

http://ServerName/PBIReports/powerbi/C?rs:Format=PDF

which again shows the same error . my report is Power Bi dashboard pbix extension and from UI manager i am getting only print oprion 

i am  using report server jan 2025 version . Appreciate you reply on this . 

Just want to know whether its possible to export PDF for pbix file

Hello @SukTech,

To resolve this, can you please review the folder hierarchy on your Report Server and shorten folder or report names to ensure the total path stays within the allowed limit.

I would also recommend to make sure the path starts with a / if you're referencing it in a script, URL, or subscription.

P.S. If you're exporting via automation tools like PowerShell or using the Report Server UI, confirm that the export path and report path are both compliant with the character limit.

Hi @Sahir_Maharaj  . Thank you for the reply . we dont have option in Power Bi report server to export the dashboard as PDF from Report server UI .I tried shortening the path and / before the path still same error .

As in the front end there is not option just wonderting of its possible through powershell or any other tools ?
