When setting up a paginated report email subscription in report server, is it possible to add a default message in the comment section?
We are using report server to distribute subscription reports to external customers and input the exact same message for all subscriptions...as long as the individual creating the subscription remembers to do it. That last part is why we want to set it up as a default message.

Hi @francino ,
Thank you for reaching out to us in Microsoft Fabric Community Forum!
Currently in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI Report Server, there is no built-in way to set a default comment in the email subscription UI. Each subscription requires manual entry, which can be easy to overlook.
Here are a few options to help streamline this process:
1.You may automate the comment field by using a data-driven subscription that pulls a default message from a database. This ensures consistency and removes the need for manual input.
Available in SQL Server Enterprise Edition or with appropriate Power BI Report Server licensing.

If this is a key need, consider submitting a feature request via Power BI Ideas forum. Feedback submitted through this channel is frequently reviewed by the product teams and can contribute to meaningful improvements.
