Power BI report server

I have built all my reports using Power BI Desktop September 2023 version, and all reports were uploaded to the DEV power BI report server. When i attempt to upload these same reports to the Production Report Server i get this error
"Can’t upload this report

We're not able to upload this report. The report was created with a recent version of Power BI Desktop that is not yet supported by this server."

I donot want to downgrade to the May 2023 version, Please some one help on how i can fix this issue? Thank you

Hi @enjuh ,

Ensure that the production Power BI report server has been updated to support the latest version of reports created using the September 2023 release of Power BI Desktop. 

By ensuring that the production Power BI reporting server is on a version that supports September 2023 Power BI Desktop files, you should be able to upload reports without having to downgrade the Power BI Desktop version.

Thank you @Anonymous , for this prompt response. I will work with our Admin to upgrade the report server. 
Do we have to do this manual  upgrade any time that Microsoft upgrades the RS desktop? Is there not a way for the server to be automatically optimized to suit the latest version of the Desktop for the Report server?
