Power BI report server- how to set dataset/datasource

Do you mean you want to upload excel to report server as a dataset and then create paginated reports based on this dataset, etc.?
You can directly select upload files to the specified folder in the top right corner of the report server as the data source.Upload Files to a Folder - SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) | Microsoft Docs

Resolver IVHi, if you want to upload a dataset you need to create one with the report builder. I guess after that you can connect with report builder to this dataset. Not sure though if you can connect to a dataset with Power BI since I never tried it, but here is a link https://dataap.org/blog/2018/01/17/power-bi-report-using-ssrs-shared-datasets/
