Power BI Reposrt Server Licensing for SPLA?
Hi, Perhaps somebody here can answer the following question or at least guide me to the correct team to ask. We currently evaluate PowerBI as frontend for our tool (and compare with other tools)...
No, you'll need Power BI Premium, or SQL Server Enterprise + SA. There's no way to license Power BI Report Server through SPLA.

Thanks for your answer. I struggled up to now to get a definite answer. Still hoped that we could add SA to a SQL Server Enterprise SPLA Licence.
In terms of licence cost we might go for one of the cloud options then - if we can. I'm not opposed to using cloud services at all but some of our customers are cautious and as service provider we have to take that into account.
