I am using Power BI 'create a subscription' cunction to generate activity reports for my customers monthly. I rely on this to send me the data for each respective customer on a monthly basis for my review and then I share my notes of their activity for them to action any issues I find.
The issues I am having are two fold. First, I cannot have the system simply send me the data in excel format. The only options I have are a png image and a power point presentation. Neither of these allow me to edit the data and to highlight or notate the issues to the customer. Secondly, the images I am receiving do not show all rows, there is no scrolling functionality and the image always cuts off the bottom row of "totals" which is very important for the customer to see.
My end goal is to have Power BI send me these respective reports in excel format monthly. Otherwise, the emails I am receiving from Power BI are only serving as a notice for me to go in and pull the reports I am asking it to pull on a monthly basis which is defeating the point.
