When can we expect the latest Power BI Report Server Version? The updated one with current features that accommodates the Power BI Desktop version for August and September 2020.

The next release is due this month. They had to push the current release back by a month to accomodate the new metadata format https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/release-update-for-sept-2020-release-of-power-bi-report-ser... 

The updated one with current features that accommodates the Power BI Desktop version for August and September 2020.

Note that you should only ever use the version of Power BI Desktop that  is "Optimized for Report Server" when working with PBIRS (there will be a download link in the top right of your Report Portal for the correct version. Using any other version of Desktop will risk build a report that may not work when published to PBIRS.
