Power BI Report Server - large datasets (aggregations and/or composite models)

Hi everybody!

I'm trying to use massive data in Power BI Report Server. Is it possible to use aggregations and/or composite models in PBI Report Server? I was successful in use them in PBI Desktop, but I got errors trying to save them in Report Server.

Are those features supported in PBI Report Server?

No, these features are not currently supported in PBI Report Server.

One option is to use a SSAS Tabular instance models with Live Connection reports. This lets you do incremental processing by setting up separate partitions so you don't have to read all the data on every refresh, but it does mean you need a separate SSAS instance with appropriate licensing.
