Power BI Report Server September 2022 Issues
Hi there,
My approach to deal with this issue would be:
- To talk to the networking team or whoever set up the domain account
- Check the Log files to see if an entry is related to the user. The server logs the user information using the following format DomainName\username, example Contoso\matheusmalta
I hope it helps.
Please, let us know if you were able to solve the problem and how you did it.
-Thanks!
Hey, I extracted the Report Server log, but did not find any useful information for this user. I tried to open a ticket at Microsoft but I didn't get a response from the responsible area.

Hi,
It does not say too much about it. I do not know how your company's security is set up, but we use Azure Active Directory group to grant access to our Power BI Reporting Services folders, which works very well.
- Does the user has the proper permission for your database server?
My last suggestion will be to create the AAD group containing the user and then grant permission on the folder to the newly created AAD.
