Getting the following error when trying to create a scheduled refresh : Something went wrong.
Ive repaired the Sql report installation and upgraded the power bi report server to may 2021 (both on the same server). Upon reviewing the logs i found the following error and i can seem to find a way around it. Please help

I know this is probably few years too late, but I just ran into this same issue and fixed it by adding the account that was running the PBI service into the administrator group of the PBI server.
Do you have a picture I can show you? I have the same problem and it has not been solved yet. Thank you.
we are having the same issue; after service restart, it goes away and happens again Adhocly. Is there a solution for this?

Try change change the URL from Report Manager URL to Web Service URL. Check this for detail:

I have checked the settings, on being powerbi and the other being powerbiRreports.
the url change, do you mean the url setting in rsreportserver.config in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Report Server\PBIRS\ReportServer.
