Hi
I have a question about Power BI Report Server licensing that I can't find an answer to online.
How many instances of Power BI Report Server can be licensed using a single Power BI Premium license?
Is it one, or can a single Power BI Premium license key be used for multiple Power BI Report Server instances?
If it's the latter, then is there a limitation on the number of instances?
I appreciate this is not a conventional way to license Power BI but I have a very niche scenario for a client.

I've spoken to Microsoft about this. In the particular situation I'm in, our client needs PBI Report Servers installed in a multiple separate virtual networks. In this instance you need to purchase a separate PBI Premium license per virtual network.

As I know, there no limit on number of instances, there is limit only to number of CPU cores.
Thanks for the reply.
Is the total number of CPU cores used by the report server instances limited to the number of CPU cores that Premium license type supports? For example, a P1 license has 8 v-cores, therefore it supports 8 CPU cores across the report server instances
I think yes, with P1 license you have right to use Power BI Report Server on 8 cores. I think no matter if on single 8core server, or two 4core servers. I'm not sure if there is minimum 4core restriction (as is on SQL Server product).
