Power BI Report Server (14.0.600.301) Config Issue : Web Services URL & Web Portal URL

Dears,

 

I have installed the Power BI Report Server (14.0.600.301) Developer edition, once finished the Report Server configuration then encountered 2 issues :

1. Web Service URL - Report Server Error :  Power BI Report Server http://hkhk1ws0126/Power%20BI_Reports

  • The permissions granted to user 'KUL-DC\andykwon' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)

2.  Web Portal URL  : http://hkhk1ws0126/Power%20BI_Reports

     Only show a blank page

 

Details could refer to screen shot.

 

Anyone know the root cause and how to resolve the issues?

      Can you check the ReportingServicesService****.log in the installation LogFiles folder and let me know if you have a more detailed error in the log:

      C:\Program Files\Microsoft Power BI Report Server\PBIRS\LogFiles

       

      My guess is your domain account is missing some permission, the other thing you can try is to change the service account to use the Network Service account.
