Power BI Mobile App Access Issue for Non-Domain Admin Users

We set up a Power BI Report Server, and we can access it via a browser, view the reports, and perform all actions. However, we are unable to log in through the mobile app. Only users with Domain Admin privileges can log in via the mobile app in our domain environment. How can we resolve this issue?

Hi @cansahin ,

You need to send these external users a link to the app before they can use reports etc in the app.

Inviting external users to our domain can be followed up by following this link instruction:

Access on-prem Report Server from your Power BI Mobile app with Azure Active Directory Application P...

Enable remote access to Power BI with Microsoft Entra application proxy - Microsoft Entra ID | Micro...

Thanks for information. So, if the AD is not in Azure, it means I can't perform this operation, correct?

Hi @cansahin ,

That’s correct. If your Active Directory (AD) is not integrated with Azure, certain operations that rely on Azure AD won’t be possible.
