Power BI IPad App

Power BI Desktop: Version: 2.51.4885.1041 64-bit (October 2017)

Power BI Report Server: Version 1.1.6530.30789 (October 2017)

Power BI App for IPad 14.5

 

I can view a report in the desktop version, however on the app version for the Ipad it just shows the power bi icon flashing in the background and will not display the report.

 

It does not work for any report whether I use Direct Query or Import etc.

 

Any ideas or is this a known issue?

Found a solution. If the app does not work you have to uninstall the app fully. Restart the iPad and reconnect all your servers and it should work. Not a nice workaround if you have a number of servers but it does work.

 

Something to do with caching in the app it seems.

Are you able to view all reports in Power BI report server web portal? 

 

@gabil Is it a known issue?

Yes web portal is fine. It is just on an iPad we have had the issue

It seems the issue related to the IOS Power BI app version. This is a similar issue reported here: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Mobile-Apps/can-t-review-report-on-Power-bi-moblie/m-p/308308#M2660

 

Maybe @gabil has idea about this issue?
