Power BI Desktop for Report Server Release schedule

Is there any information on the release schedule for Power BI Desktop for Report Server and what features from Power BI Desktop will be merged with the RS version of PBI Desktop in the next release?

Hi Vicky - the PowerBI Desktop for report server will release at the same time/in-sync with the server to maintain 100% compatibility between them. The PowerBI Report Server will officially release into production around 3 times per year and typically match the features/functionality of that month's release of PowerBI Desktop for Cloud. Hmm.. some good and some bad news. Was hoping we would have more frequent releases so only 3 times a year is bad news but good news is that you say the features should be in sync. I assume there are no firm dates yet on the next release but given it says 3 times I suppose some time in Oct'17.
