Personal Gate

Hello everybody and thanks in advance; I am very happy to belong to this community.

I am thinking to buy a windows server in order to set the personal gateway and keep it always on; I wouldn`t like to set it every time I switch off my laptop.
The questión is ;  does any windows server accept the personal gateway? I dont know if I would need a remote license in adittion in order to download the exe from the the web and then set it up. I mean , maybe i need to buy something special in order to see the remote desktop and use it as my own computer.

Does the provider  give to the client a panel (like Plesk or something similar) in order to set the personal gate?. I talked to them but they dindt know anything about personal gateway requirements.
