Paginated Report: Show distinct row

In Power BI Paginated Report, I cannot figure out a way to show DISTINCT or UNIQUE row.  I am using a dataset which is shared across multiple tabs so I do not want to create another dataset to accommodate. There's a datetime field which I would like to extract date and be able to show distinct rows based on that. There's isn't much resource on paginated reports or report builder.  Thanks.

    Can you upload an example of the dataset you are working with and the expected result? I am having a hard time understanding your question.
