Hello,
I hope you can help us.
Since this week we try to get our Power BI Report server on premises ready to be used for the Internet and the Power BI App.
Therefore we registered a new domain name, like https//ournewdomainname.nl
In our old situation we had one port 80 and two port 443 with certificates. This works fine.
We could open the normal reports and the Power BI reports.
Now we add a new binding on port 443 with a certificate to our new domain, https//ournewdomainname.nl (example).
In the rsreportserver file:
<UrlString>https://ournewdomainname.nl:443</UrlString>
<AccountSid>S*****************3</AccountSid>
<AccountName>NT SERVICE\*********</AccountName>
We tested this, https//ournewdomainname.nl/BIReports
We can indeed access our report server from the external web/Internet and the Power BI APP. We can even start all the normal reports. BUT, all the Power BI reports gives now a error 'Something went wrong. Please try again later. '
These problems are now also internal, even on port 80.
error in ..\PBIRS\LogFiles:
|FATAL|1|Could not start PBIXSystem.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.Net.HttpListenerException: Access is denied
With the extra new binding we cant open, create, download or upload new PBIX reports to the Power BI report server. We removed all binding and add only the binding to the new website, but the problem is still there.
Removing the new binding solves the problem. But then we can't access our internal Power BI Report server from the web/Internet and Power BI App.
Please help.
Many thanks!
