Hi,
I'm using a report service on-prem to publish the reports, we have the production and test environment. A scheduled report was published and in the production environment it does not update, while in the test environment it does. An error was found, in test environment, about IDATAREADER, but we are not using SQL.
Could anyone advise?
somebody was writing to the database at the same time as you were attempting to read, and you lost the rock-paper-scissors game.
@lbendlin, All kidding aside, this error may be related to be priority of reading and writing then? Even if you are a systemic user?
Yes. Talk to the people writing to the database if they could use more optimistic lock settings. (Not kidding, that is a thing)
Thanks for the help, i will test
