I am new to power bi and users are reporting an issue wherein the data refresh is erroring out in PBI Server with the error:
Error Processing Data Model Refresh: SessionId: b6b78eba-2d4f-4c6e-890d-18e8dd7d90ca, Status: Error Failed Data Refresh, Exception Microsoft.AnalysisServices.OperationException: Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'Too few arguments were passed to the SUM function. The minimum argument count for the function is 1.
Too few arguments were passed to the XNPV function. The minimum argument count for the function is 4.
The credentials provided for the Web source are invalid. (Source at https://sharepointsite.com/sites/TEST/testdata.xlsx.). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
I have verified the ff:
- account used for the data refresh is not locked out
- account has access to the excel sheet,
- test connection on the data sources are successful
- running data refresh in PBI Desktop without any issues
- no changes to the report
any guidance or help will be much appreciated.
