PBI Report Server and Synoptic Panel
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi abcymbron
I ran the following test again. I used an SVG image of a European map and an SVG image that was not a map. Both were displayed normally.
Since this is a custom visual, please report the issue to the relevant support team so that they can help fix it.
The following is my test process for reference. You may try changing the image to check if it is a problem with a specific image.
My sample:
The map SVG image uses the Map field column in the data, and the other SVG image uses the local image.

Hi!
I concluded that the problem was related with the browser. In Google Chrome the visual wouldn't load, but in any other browser the visual works as expected.
Hi abcymbron
Thanks for the reply from lbendlin .
Through my testing, I used Synoptic Panel Sample and then saved it to Power BI Report Server, and everything displays correctly.

I found a post with a similar issue to yours, which indicates that the issue was fixed in the 11/2/2023 release, so if you're using a version earlier than that, might you consider updating the version and trying again?

Hi Anonymous ,
I updated both the report server and the power bi desktop to the september 2024 version yesterday. On the desktop, I created a test file, and it looks like this:
When I save it to the report server, it looks like this:
Based on this, I don't think that the problem is the same... Thanks for the help!
