PBI Desktop optimized for report server and microsoft report builder clients on Windows 2019 server

Any one tried to install and use these client tools PBI Desktop optmized for report server and Microsoft Report Builder on a Windows 2019 Server? Officially they are only certified till Windows 2012 R2 which is in EOL state and we need to go with Windows 2016 or 2019 server (jumpbox) as our Authoring environment.

Anyone tried and using currently using these client tools on Windows 2019 Server, please post your experience whether it runs smooth with no issues? Or do you face any issues/roadblocks?

Thanks in advance for sharing your experience.

    I use Win2016 in a customer case and it works perfect.

      Great to know that it worked on Win 2016 server. Thank you KBO.

      Just keeping the post open to get any feedback with Win 2019 server too.
