Hi,
I am looking for a PBI app user's activity(View perday, unique view...per users). From the current version we are able to see only 90 days data. Is it possible to go beyond that time period? Raw data is fine with me.
Rom
The activity data in Power BI is stored for 90 days by default, so it is not possible to view activity data for a longer time period directly in the app. However, you can export the activity data to a local file or another data source to store it for a longer period of time.
To export the activity data, follow these steps:
Go to the Power BI admin portal and select the workspace you want to export activity data from.
Click on the "Activity" tab.
Select the "Export" option in the top right corner.
Choose the format you want to export the data in (e.g. CSV, Excel, etc.).
Download the exported file and store it in a location where you can access it in the future.
By exporting the activity data, you can keep a record of user activity beyond the 90 day retention period in Power BI. You can also use this data to perform additional analysis and create custom reports.
Or
you can add a historic table for the log, it'll be a custom table.
