On Premise Gateway for Oracle Connection type

Hello Team -

 

We have on -prem Gateway installed on one of the VM.

We are able to use above mentioned on prem Gateway using Azure and Snowflake connection type.

 

But we create new connection for "Oracle" it is failing with below error screenshot:-

We are using same Oracle SVC connection to connect to the DEV Oracle DB using "Oracle Sql Developer" tool and we are able to connect and run queries successfully.

Can anybody help with this Gateway Oracle Connection Type error issue?

Hi @kgandhi2001 ,

To connect to an Oracle database with the on-premises data gateway, the correct Oracle client software must be installed on the computer running the gateway. The Oracle client software you use depends on the Oracle server version, that will always match the 64-bit gateway.

Supported Oracle versions:

  • Oracle Server 9 and later
  • Oracle Data Access Client (ODAC) software 11.2 and later
