On- Premise Gateway Installation

Hi everyone!

I have a question, It's advisable to install the gateway on a separate server or I can install in the same server of the database?

Best practice is to install the gateway on dedicated VMs  (more than one!)  with 32GB RAM, 16 cores, and at least two spindles  (better three - one for the OS, one for the logs, and one for the static (!) page file).

Installing the gateway on a VM that already runs something else can and will lead to memory starvation and CPU exhaustion for  both apps.
