Hi Guys,
I have an issue that I have been trying to resolve. I have a powerbi report that my client needs to analyse in excel. Hence did some slice and dice as he wanted in excel and sent it to him. But he is not able to edit the excel sheet, everytime he tries to select some measure or column from right hand side , he gets a prompt to connect to microsoft account and when he logs in it says cannot connect and operation failed.
I have tried to update the ananlyze excel updates on his system and installed the latest OLE DB Provider too, but nothing seems to be working out. He needs the excel to be editable so that he can slice and dice on the measures.
Can somebody help me please?
Regards,
Shweta

Analyze is excel only works when it connects to Power BI Service (cloud) report. Here is the link for analyze in excel. You are connecting to a data source in Power BI service (cloud), it is always going to ask the user to login to Power BI cloud service.
