My subscription page setting dimmed

Hi How do I setup my subscriptions and are it able to send an email to the users? Thanks for your help

Samantha do you have content manager permissoins on your PBI Report server?

Yes I do have Content Manager permissions and how do I add my subscription here?

Also my PBI Report Server version is Version 1.1.6582.41691 (October 2017)

I am installing on a on-premises, do I need to install the gateway?

Any help is much appreciated!
