My Report Role Folder missing from Web Portal

Hello

I'm new to the Power BI Report Server pane and I'm studying the predefined roles. My goal is to activate the role "My Report" I followed tutorials but I can not find the option " Enable a my Report folder for each user "

The first picture is taken from a tutorial and the second is displayed in my case

I have sql server management studio 13.0.1601.5 version and the interface I get is this one.Can this be due to the version?

A couple things to try:

1. Try using the latest version of PBIRS (August 2018)

2. Try using the latest verision of SQL Management Studio

3. If you have SSRS or other instances installed, ensure you are connecting the correct PBIRS install

4. Reboot PBIRS after applying the change.

5. Look for folder called 'My Reports' after you make all the changes

Hello
Thank you for your reply.
In fact for the first point I have the version PBIRS (August 2018).
2. I have checked the version of SQL SERVER MANAGEMENT STUDIO20.png

And I did help about and I had the version V17.9 it seems to me that it is the last version 21.png

3. I don't use SSRS For the PBIRS install I followed the instructions of the microsoft site (Basic )

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/install-report-server.

Could this be an installation problem?

Thank you in advance

@Anonymous,

In your original post, you are connecting to SQL Server database engine but not Power BI report server.

Since you have installed Power BI report server following the guide in this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/report-server/install-report-server, you can then open report server configuration manager, then copy web services URL and paste it to SSMS, then you are able to find the My Report option .
