Hi. First time poster here. I’ve searched around for answer to this, but am unable to locate anything. If there’s another post where this is addressed, please let me know and I’m happy to go there. I'm also not sure if this should be under Desktop or Developer, but, took a shot and chose Desktop. Anyway...
I’m wondering if it’s possible to have 2 different paginated report templates that can be used within the same report, depending on a field value. At its most basic, something like: if MyColumn = X, then Template 1, else Template 2. The various pages of the report would use the appropriate template where applicable. Is this possible?
The issue is that I have static objects on the page – symbols/icons, etc. – that may need to change position, color, etc. based on the value of a certain field. Hence the desire for multiple templates. But it would be ideal to have both templates used within the same report, where necessary. For example, to generate a multiple-page PDF, each page using the appropriate template.
Any creative solutions here?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
