Matrix Row subtotals not showing in Report server

Hallo,

When deploying a report containing a Matrix, the Row subtotals do not show in Report server. However, the Row subtotal does show in Desktop.

I am using May 2024 Power BI RSversion.

What do you think the problem is,  please?

Hi,@Anonymous .I am glad to help you.
It's very unfortunate to hear that you're having problems with the Report server and I've tried to reproduce your problem.
Here are my tests:
In Power BI Desktop(RS) May version

Publish to report server, the layout is displayed correctly (row subtotals are displayed correctly).

You need to check if the row subtotal (Total column) is not displayed correctly when the matrix is set to tabular layout due to a field type or model setting issue, you need to check if you have set the layout to tabular layout.

If all the above attempts have been tested and the problem persists.
You can try rolling back your current version of Power BI Desktop(RS) and use the January version to see if the same issue occurs, currently the January version is working fine and does not have similar issues.

If you can provide relevant screenshots of the issue (including the field types you are using and a display of the report layout before and after the release), this could help you identify the issue.
Fortunately, I found a similar issue with the matrix layout and it was resolved. Some of these users have taken to rolling back to the January release and it's working fine.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Carson Jian,
