Loading Data Faster Report Builder
I am not sure I am psoting this is the correct place - this is for PAGINATED REPORT BUILDER I am having some struggles with the data tables/views that my company is having built. First they load...
A couple of suggestions:
1. Try creating indexes on the tables that are used in the views.
2. If you have the option, turn the views into physical tables as part of your ETL process.
The suggestions above can be applied to just those views that used in parameters (if parameters are the only problem) or to other views used in the report (if the report is also slow to load).
