Latest version of On premise server does not support data sources!

Hi All,

I installed latest release of power bi on premise server Version 1.1.6530.30789 (October 2017). In this latest version is not possible to configure data sources inside of the report (not possible to even select). Version before this new one was supporting data sources and I was able to create scheduled refresh. Data source is Teradata

What is wrong in here?

Hi @amk_82,

Please make sure current account has been granted with access permission on both System level security (under site setting) and Item level security (under Manager Folder).

Hi,

My account is in sysadmin group but I also added it to system level security and item level security. No changes. Data source optin is still disabled. I also intalled version before that this lates one but I sill have same problem.

Please restart the PBI report server service for a test.
