KPI Visual in Life connecton doesn't show Percentage

Hi all

We have a lot of KPI Visuals displaying Measures formatted as Percentage.

All was OK, until the last update of PBI RS.

Since the Update, the KPI Visuals are showing decimal number only, but no Percentage.

When I look at the Data (Show data) all looks OK

This happens only when I access an SSAS model with a live connection.

When I create a new PBI File in Import modus all looks OK.

Has anybody experienced this as well?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

After a few more tests, I found interesting behaviour:

When I install the "regular" Power BI Desktop, and connect to the same SSAS model and use the standard KPI Visual, the value is displayed correctly as a percentage.

When I open a Power BI report, which doesn't display the number in the correct format with the PBI-RS, all looks correct without any modifications.

It seems that under specific circumstances, the format string is not processed correctly by the Power BI Desktop for SSRS.

Unfortunately, I was not able to reproduce this behaviour in my private test VM with SSAS and PBI-RS (Same version as the customer).

Is anybody here from Microsoft, which can help us, or forward this to the product team?

This looks like a bug in the product.

Regards

Salvatore
