Is it possible to use power bi in 100% local, not using cloud data ?

Hello people,

A customer i have want to use Power BI for his compagny. Since their data are very "sensitive", their don't want any use of microsoft cloud or something else, they want a solution 100% local. Is it possible to use power bi 100% local ? Not using the microsoft cloud.

Is it possible ? How ?

Thanks

You can do this with Power BI Report Server https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/report-server/ which is the technology that this forum is focussed on. You install this product on-prem on your own servers so all the information resides on your servers. It does not have all the features of the cloud service as there is some functionality that required cloud infrastructure, but it has a lot of the features and you can host both your own Power BI reports and paginated reports.
