Install PowerBI report server in clustred servers

Hi,

I want to install power BI Report Server but I don't find any information about install it on clustred servers. is it any way to do it?

You follow the same steps as for a cluster SSRS install Configure a Native Mode Report Server Scale-Out Deployment - SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) | ... 

Note that because Report Server is a web application it only supports NLB clusters. It is not supported to install Report Server on a Windows Failover cluster like one you would use to host a database engine. If you are trying to install on the same cluster as a clustered SQL instance this is not supported. Unfortunately you will need a separate server / NLB cluster for Report Server and extra core licenses to cover this.

Hi,

Does it mean that Power Bi report Server can't be deployed on a protected environment?!

Would you give more explanation. Why I have to go through SQL Server?

If by protected environment you want an environment that is highly available then you can follow the instructions on the previous link I posted for installing Report Server on an NLB cluster. So then you don't have a single point of failure and if one server fails the other can pick up the load. 

To be fully "protected" you should also use a separate clustered instance of SQL Server for the Report Server database.
