How to downgrade PowerBI Gateway

How to downgrade PowerBI Gateway : Has any donwgraded Power BI gateway to older version without uninstalling existing version.

If uninstalling is the only option please confirm some quick steps.

    Pretty certain you have to uninstall or install a new gateway on a new machine and add to cluster, turn off the old gateway or uninstall it.
