Is it possible to disable refresh when sharing Power BI reports with users/customers on Power BI Report Server (PBRS) - as if every one refreshes that would cause deadlock and delays.

  We are very surprised. Has no one run into this? We share Power BI report on Power BI Report Server, what if multiple users 'refresh' it? That may be deadlock situation and not good performance, data may change if two see the same report at delta time difference if someone unintentionally Refreshed in between.
  
  Wouldn't it be logical that only BI developers be able to Refresh? Any solution to this issue?
  Is there any plan for this feature - to have control over disabling Refresh on PBRS apart from developers of the report?

    Hi mdave.
    Have you consider the possibility to create a small web-app with your embedded report? In this way the users should not be able to see the refresh button.
    However, I hope this feature is modified and made configurable in the future.
    Can anyone confirm if my proposal could solve the problem safely and cleanly? Has anyone already adopted and tested it?

We tried changing 'Security' roles and it still doesn't allow to control Refresh.
